About Mike Bradley

As a Photography student at one of the nation's most prestigous Technical Institutions, I am accustomed to having my future profession ridiculed by the engineers and scientists of my generation.
My answer has been rehearsed many times: I simply want to do something I enjoy for the rest of my life. From my vantage point, it seems difficult to love engineering like I love taking pictures. But I'm sure they do. I don't care to be a millionare or drive an expensive car. If I can go to bed each night and look forward to working the next day, that's good enough for me. Maybe I'll even make enough money to pay the bills while I'm at it.
We have our ups and downs, of course, photography and I. Just like there are days I don't feel like running (did I mention I run? It's probably the only thing I love as much and spend as much time doing as photography), sometimes I just don't want to go track down the owner of a downtown Volleyball club who just won't call me back instead of making dinner and sitting on the couch. But I find satisfaction in working hard. There is no mountaintop; there's always better. One can always shoot better just like one can always run faster.
